In 1970 while recovering from one of my many orthopedic surgeries due to being born with multiple birth defects, I was lying in bed trying to tune in some music on my transistor radio, and I by chance picked up a college station out of Alfred, NY and I heard BB King, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf for the first time.  Although I went on to be a drummer in several Country and Country/Rock bands, the blues never left my heart.  After trying to play guitar and failing miserably, I picked up the harmonica and started studying Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells and Charlie Musselwhite and along the way found I could sing a bit.   I have been honored to play with some of the best talent in our area and even sitting in with Taz Cru when he played locally.”
