The band was formed in 2015 with the straightforward idea to bring the full range of blues to the Southern Tier of NY and Northern Tier of PA. Larry Childs had the concept to put together a "dream team" group to keep the quality of music at a high standard.  Night Train was born featuring a solid rhythm section of Joe Peters on bass and Steve Hepfer on drums. Along with Larry's blues harp and lead vocals and Matt Casey with his solid rhythm guitar, leads and vocals the band takes you to the next level and hits you hard with solid, high-powered blues.
 
Our playlist spans the full spectrum of blues from Memphis to Chicago and blues based classic rock.  From Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf to Canned Heat, Eric Clapton, Tinsley Ellis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray, John Mayall, the Allman Brothers, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Tab Benoit, ZZ Top and many more.  We specialize in roof shakin’ blues, a dash of classic rock and an original or two as well. Our fans enjoy our range and diversity through our efforts to add to our playlist on a regular basis.
